Vikalp Announces Admissions for Online & Home-Schooling Options
As the demand for flexible and accessible education grows, online and home-schooling options are increasingly being explored by families worldwide. Vikalp, an online school offering experiential learning programs, has announced the opening of admissions for the Spring session of the 2025-2026 academic year. The school caters to students from Nursery to Grade 12.
With a shift from traditional blackboard teaching to a more hands-on learning approach, Vikalp integrates active experimentation, reflection, and critical thinking into its curriculum. The learning process includes discussions, reinforcement through interactive tools such as mobile games, and application-based exercises using books and workbooks. Assessment is designed to gauge both the learning process and overall progress.
Admissions involve a video interaction between educators and students to understand their learning needs and allocate appropriate teachers and batches. The school provides customized learning paths, including provisions for students with special needs. Classes are structured based on students' learning levels rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
Delighted with the announcement, Neha Choudhry, Co-Founder & Chief Idea Officer, Vikalp India said, “At Vikalp, we believe in the democratization of education and that’s why we do not admit only good students and exclude the rest. As per our inclusive policy, we admit students with special needs as well by carefully assessing their understanding level.”
For primary school (Grades 1-5), students can choose from four batches with a three-day weekly schedule. Middle school (Grades 6-8) follows a four-day week with three available batches, while senior school (Grades 9-12) operates on a five-day schedule with three batch options. The academic year is divided into three trimesters, ensuring syllabus completion within a structured nine-month period.
