Purpose:

Daily shoes, drag racing cars, super bikes, rubber bands and what not? Rubber in its vulcanized form is used around the world in the smallest size to its massive content. Charles Goodyear was hated by everyone; he spent a lot of time in the prison, lost all his friends and starved his children and wife to find a stronger and durable form of rubber. He and his family moved to an abandoned factory where he used an acid to smooth out and toughen rubber. The government was pleased with this and supported him buying 150 mailbags.

Invention: But that did not work, all the bags were defective. He was ruined, but he did not give away. He built another formula and demonstrated in a general store, it did not work and the crowd laughed. Being frustrated he threw the rubber and it fell on a hot stove top. He saw the material changing its form and developed the concept. He found a new way to make rubber more durable and weatherproof and Applause! An emperor was born.
