Veera India's Only Mobile Browser enters Web3 Space with Built-In Universal Wallet
Veera, India’s mobile-only internet browser, announces the launch of innovative Web3 features designed to bridge the gap between Web2 and Web3, providing users with a holistic and seamless browsing experience.
Veera unveils a universal wallet designed for seamless and secure management of multiple digital tokens, streamlining transactions across the Web3 ecosystem with a single sign-on feature. Setting a new standard in Web3 wallets, it introduces biometric protection as a groundbreaking alternative to traditional passkey-based security.
Veera also launched a curated Web3 app store that enhances the discovery and access of decentralized applications (dApps), presenting users with the latest developments in the decentralized space. This store will evolve and grow regularly, emphasizing the importance of dApps in the Web3 landscape.
“Our focus is to build a simple-to-use, intuitive platform that guides users on their journey while providing content support for their key queries,” said Arjun Ghose, Founder of Veera. “The Web3 and Web2 worlds have often been disconnected, making it difficult for users to explore decentralized applications easily. Our goal is to bridge this gap, simplifying the user journey and boosting confidence in exploring both environments.”
With notable features such as advanced ad-blocking, strong security, speed, and a gamified daily rewards system, Veera continues to distinguish itself in the market. The revamped rewards engine now offers redemption options across both Web2 and Web3 platforms, enhancing user engagement.
Sukhdeep Bhogal, COO & CPO of Veera, commented, "The launch of our Web3 features represents a significant milestone for both Veera and the Web3 ecosystem. It’s the first time all essential elements—wallet, app store, and browser—have been integrated into a single platform to provide a unified experience for users across web2 and web3."
Founded in February 2024 by Arjun Ghose, Aditya Julka, Kanu Gupta, and Rahul Pagidipati, Veera has rapidly grown its user base from one million in April 2024 to over three million by January 2025, backed by top-tier venture capital firms like 6th Man Ventures, Folius, and Ayon.
The browser’s simple and intuitive design ensures minimal resource usage, delivering a snappy browsing experience across all device types. The company aims to expand into 100+ countries by the end of this quarter, while also focusing on redefining user experiences in the rapidly evolving Web3 landscape. Industry reports forecast that the Web3 market is projected to reach approximately $50 billion by 2032.
