US based Tenable ropes Rajnish Gupta as MD & Country Manager in India

Tenable, a U.S.-based exposure management company, recently announced the appointment of Rajnish Gupta as its Managing Director for India and the SAARC region.

He will be responsible for guiding Tenable's tactical endeavors, supervising its operations and propelling the continual expansion of commercial and partner pursuits throughout the area.

According to the company, their recent appointment is in line with their swift expansion of cloud capabilities and exposure management platform. This will aid organizations in identifying, disclosing, and resolving gaps in their cyber exposure.

Tenable is an exposure management company focused on identifying and closing cybersecurity gaps that threaten business value, reputation, and trust.

Their AI-driven exposure management platform provides a comprehensive view of security, offering unified visibility, insights, and actions across the entire attack surface. This equips modern organizations to defend against threats, from IT infrastructure and cloud environments to critical infrastructure and beyond.

Tenable states that it helps reduce business risk for over 44,000 customers worldwide.

Having garnered more than three decades of expertise in both IT and cybersecurity sectors, Gupta brings his extensive knowledge to Tenable after serving as the India Country Director for Cortex at Palo Alto Networks.

Before that, Gupta held the position of senior director and led cybersecurity at Microsoft.

Rajnish Gupta stated that, Tenable emphasized the need to continue supporting customers as the modern attack surface grows in size and complexity, with security teams managing multiple clouds and identities across a converged IoT, OT, and IT landscape. They stressed the importance of helping business and security leaders better understand and manage cyber risk.

He expressed his anticipation of working with customers and partners to navigate the complex and constantly evolving cybersecurity landscape.
