Startups like Dailyhunt-founded by Virendra Gupta-will be amongst the many which will look to make hay with the ongoing “Digital India” movement. Dailyhunt has witnessed a whopping 100 million downloads and 25 million monthly active users who read 3 billion pages on the platform. Gupta believes the company will be driving 5-6 percent of the overall online retailing transaction volume in the next 12 months.

Sahil Barua, Dehlivery

The Gurgaon-based, five-year old logistics start-up by Sahil Barua (CEO, Dehlivery) has raised over $126 million (Rs 837 crore) so far and has been aggressively buying stakes in tech-focused logistics players including Parcelled and Opinio. With customers such as Flipkart, Shopclues, Voonik and Paytm, the company has been delivering some 204,000 shipments daily, servicing more than 4,000 pin codes.
