Thiruvananthapuram to host India's largest beach startup fest

More than 5,000 startups and 300 mentors are anticipated to take part in the fifth edition of the Kerala Startup Mission's 'Huddle Global' event, scheduled to take place from November 16 to 18 in the capital city. Recognized as India's largest beach startup festival, the event aims to draw in 15,000 attendees and 150 international investors to the picturesque Azhimala. Described as a platform for startups to showcase their products and engage with global tech and industry professionals, Huddle Global offers valuable insights on achieving success in the field, as stated by Startup Mission CEO Anoop Ambika.
The event presents an excellent opportunity for startups to seek guidance, fostering their potential for growth and expansion. An official from the organizing team expresses that the aim is to create a platform for substantial discussions encompassing various topics within the global startup ecosystem. The intention is to provide comprehensive insights into the world of startups from a global standpoint.
Previous editions saw participation from over 5,000 startups across India, and organizers are hopeful for an even larger turnout this time. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is slated to inaugurate the event on November 16. Ashok Panjikaran, head of business linkages at Startup Mission, mentions that more than 200 startups from India will use the expo to exhibit their products. Additionally, he highlights that the event, designed as a beach festival, will also contribute to boosting Kerala tourism.
