Later on, he sold the company to Japan’s Softbank for $862 million in 1995. Currently he is the Chairman and CEO of the Las Vegas Sands Corporation, which operates The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino and the Sands Expo and Convention Center. He took his Las Vegas Sands public in December 2004.
