'Snacc by Swiggy' is a brand-new stand-alone meal delivery app from Swiggy. Like Zepto's Zepto Cafe, Snacc is a 15-minute food delivery app that serves quick snacks and meals.

Snacc is presently being tested in a very small number of Bengaluru pincodes. The exact timing of this's official launch is still unknown, though.

The Play Store app claims that the selection includes tea, coffee, breakfast foods, quick meals, and dessert options.

It's interesting to note that, contrary to Swiggy's otherwise declared unified app strategy, Snacc was released as a standalone app.

With players launching their own offerings in both quick commerce and food delivery, the market for quick food delivery is heating up at the moment of Snacc's launch.

Most recently, Zomato added a 15-minute food delivery option to its main app. With this option, foods from restaurants within a 2-kilometer radius can be delivered quickly and are ready to eat.

This is comparable to Swiggy's Bolt, which it introduced in October and reported during its Q2 earnings to have already accounted for 5% of all orders for food delivery.

Zepto is getting ready to release a special app for Zepto Cafe that will offer 10-minute food deliveries, as the market for fast food delivery is heating up. The Zomato-owned company Blinkit has also released the stand-alone app Bistro for quick food delivery.

While Swish, Magicpin, and Zing are among the up-and-coming players in the quick food delivery market, Zomato is the newest addition.
