STPI Collaborates with TiEcon Mumbai 2025 to Empower Startups

India Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), a leading S&T organization of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), joined as the Startup Government Partner for the 18th Edition of TiEcon Mumbai – TiEcon Mumbai 2025, which was organized at the Jio World Convention Centre, BKC.
This year's conference, which had the theme 'Dhanda First', focused on India's startup ecosystem's transformative journey, highlighting its growth from a successful startup ecosystem to a pivotal economic growth driver. The topics of discussion included promoting innovation, scaling up, and building resilience in India's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Arvind Kumar, Director General, STPI, stated, "India's digitalization, led by Digital Public Infrastructure, is enabling inclusive economic growth and enhancing our global standing. With 50% of startups now coming from Tier 2 & 3 cities and an increasing number of women-led businesses, STPI continues to empower entrepreneurs through its 67 centers across the country".
He also stressed "Investments in AI, quantum computing, and semiconductors will be key to long-term growth, and a move from short term gains towards patient capital, J-curve investments is imperative".
The event hosted prominent dignitaries such as Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy, along with industry captains, investors, and entrepreneurs, who discussed India's startup environment, digital revolution, and economic growth. With over 3,000 attendees, 1,000+ founders, 500+ investors, 200+ corporates, and India's Top 100 Big Bulls, the event was a potent hub for networking, knowledge sharing, and strategic partnerships.
The event featured 26 STPI-incubated startups, all spearheading innovative solutions in various fields. Among these are SparshMind Innovations revolutionizing healthcare through empathetic, technology-based solutions; Sequretek IT Solutions Pvt Ltd securing cybersecurity with AI-driven threat management; Alo Agritech Pvt Ltd changing the face of sustainable agriculture through its platform Kheti-Badi, bringing consumers together with organic farmers; and Masterwork E Pvt Ltd transforming education and skill-building with interactive XR technology. These startups represent India's burgeoning innovation ecosystem, catalyzing meaningful change across sectors.
Through its sustained emphasis on deep-tech innovation, ecosystem development, and policy encouragement, STPI is dedicated to developing India's future entrepreneurs, fortifying the startup ecosystem, and making India a global destination for technological superiority.
