Ratan Tata invested in this health care online platform a total $10.2 million along with Tiger Global Management and Nexus Venture Partners. The startup allows patients to anonymously communicate with doctors and medical professionals. Founder Saurabh Arora explains, “The ability to remain anonymous enables people to talk health problems ranging from sexual health and women's health to psychological problems and depression.” Lyndate presently has over 100,000 patients and more than 80,000 doctors.

The Chairman of Tata Sons made his first automobile startup investment in this Coimbatore based business along with Forum Synergies. Though the amount has not been revealed, yet the startup plans to use this to boost operations and hire more talent.  This startup initiative of Hemlatha Annamalai and P Bala manufactures electric two- and three-wheelers.
