Social Security Startup Haqdarshak Closes Third Funding Round
Haqdarshak Empowerment Solutions Pvt Ltd (HESPL), a company that focuses on MSME, has closed its pre-Series A1 fundraising round with contributions from the Village Capital-managed Financial Health Innovation Fund and Innovating Justice Fund. The company withheld the financial transaction's specifics, but two sources familiar with the situation informed VCCircle that the deal's magnitude was estimated to be between $1.8 and $1.9 million.
Abhishek Rungta (INT), Deep Bajaj (Sirona Hygiene), Bhavin Pandya (Games 24X7), M/S Morpheus Ananta, and Bindu Subramaniam (SaPa), among others, are other investors who participated in the round. The Benagluru-based firm intends to use the money to expand its technology stack and hire personnel.
Aniket Doegar founded Haqdarshak, which intends to use technology and its field agent network to close the information and access gap between citizens and social protection agencies (both public and private).
"The investment funds will help us build tech infrastructure for the Yojana Card platform with government integrations, software and hardware to scale, and marketing expenses towards user acquisition," stated Doegar, founder and CEO, Haqdarshak.
