SMART Technologies has unveiled its first-ever India-made interactive flat panels at DIDAC 2025, marking a major step in its commitment to the country’s education technology ecosystem. The launch took place on November 20 at The Lalit, New Delhi, where the company outlined its manufacturing and innovation plans for the Indian market.

The event brought together global leaders from SMART’s headquarters, educators, technology partners, and media attendees. Guests experienced a live demonstration of the new interactive display, which is designed to improve teaching efficiency with better energy savings, upgraded annotation powered by SMART Ink, and seamless lesson delivery through Lumio’s AI features.

SMART also shared details of its India-centric strategy focused on strengthening on-ground support for schools, higher education institutions, and corporate learning setups. The company emphasized that its local manufacturing base in Andhra Pradesh will help accelerate delivery, customization, and long-term service in India.

Speaking about the milestone, Toke Tangkjaer, Chief Revenue Officer at SMART Technologies, said, the launch reflects the company’s commitment to bringing world-class learning solutions closer to Indian classrooms.
