SanchiConnect, a premier network of deeptech startups, has joined forces with KickSky Space Lab, an accelerator program for early-stage spacetech startups. The partnership led by Riceberg Ventures is intended to fortify India's emerging spacetech ecosystem by facilitating startups to transition from idea to commercialization and strengthen their global presence.
KickSky, a collaborative effort of Riceberg Ventures, E2MC Ventures, and Aniara Consulting, will now have an advantage with SanchiConnect's extensive network, mentoring experience, and founder-centric programs. The alliance is intended to provide Indian spacetech startups with better mentorship, foreign investor exposure, and easier transition from proof-of-concept to scalable startups.
“We’re thrilled to join forces with Riceberg Ventures to catalyze India’s spacetech innovation,” said Dr. Sunil Shekhawat, CEO of SanchiConnect. “Together, we aim to take startups beyond prototypes, helping them tap global capital and markets.”
KickSky, headquartered in Bengaluru, Zurich, London, and San Francisco, was set up to be a platform from which the most innovative spacetech minds can leap. "With SanchiConnect on board, we can provide more than money we can deliver worldwide strategic guidance and access to enable startups to address humanity's most audacious challenges," stated Ankit Anand, Founding Partner at Riceberg Ventures.
Govindrajan, KickSky Director, added, "We want to enable space innovation for Indian entrepreneurs. With this collaboration, they will get access to the mentorship, technology, and networks to scale."
The declaration is made at a time of historic transformation for India's spacetech sector, as it's seeing an explosion in innovation fueled by government encouragement through institutions such as IN-SPACe. This partnership will further accelerate the pace by offering funding channels, expert advice, and international visibility.
In the future, the founders are also looking to establish a global Spacetech founder community, bringing together startups with global investors, industry experts, and suppliers.
