India's largest bike taxi app providing the best intra-city commuting services, Rapido has collaborated with ONDC (Open Network for Digital Commerce) to allow the customers in Chennai to book the tickets for metro via the mobile app.

This deliberated partnership makes Rapido a feasible solution for tackling the daily commutation requirements by taking an inclusive advancements and seamlessly connecting the users with metro services.

In the year 2023, CMRL (Chennai Metro Rail Limited) recorded an inspiring daily average of 2.66 lakh passengers, adding up a notable 9.11 crore passengers on Chennai Metro Trains. On this regard of response to increased demand for affordable & flawless transportation, Rapido is taking a significant move by offering ample of features on commutation planning.

All within the user-friendly interface of the Rapido app, users can enjoy the features including the amalgamation of a range of transportation modes, such as bike taxis, cabs, and autos together with stress-free metro ticket bookings. By this way, anticipating an extensive bang, Rapido forecasts a minimum 15 percent boost in purchase of metro tickets through its app and capitalizes on its well-known consumer base.
