RABI Program 2025 Aims To Boost Agri-Business Startups in India

The RABI Program 2025 in Kashipur will empower agri-business entrepreneurs and students through structured incubation support, funding, and mentorship opportunities. Agri Startup Incubation Programme offers Seed Grant-in-Aid Funding maximum of 25 Lacs for MVP phase, Agripreneurship Orientation provides Pre-Seed Grant-in-Aid Funding maximum of 5 Lacs for ideation phase, and funding for students with innovative idea prototypes by grant-in-aid maximum of INR 4,00,000.

Eligibility Conditions for Pre Seed Stage (SAHAS) 2025: The beneficiary shall be a registered legal organization in India. Incubatees enrolled before the release of the funds must meet the conditions specified under the Startup Definition as notified by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) from time to time. Pre-Seed Stage Incubatees should have a viable business concept to build a product or service with market fit, proof of concept (PoC), or prototype. Open to Indian citizens who are eager to contribute to the agricultural sector.

Student Applications 2025: Idea Prototype Stage Grant-in-Aid: A maximum of INR 4,00,000. Students having an innovative idea/prototype, even if their startup has not been formally registered.

SAKSHAM is the seed-stage segment of RKVY-RAFTAAR Agri-Business Incubation Program, targeted at startups who already possess a ready Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and need assistance to launch, scale, and achieve market impact. SAKSHAM provides experienced mentoring, incubation assistance, and funding to make these startups grow.

SAHAS, the pre-seed category, targets incubatees who are in the process of conceptualizing their ideas but have a prototype, proof of concept, or evolving business model. This stage will ensure prospective entrepreneurs get counseling and funding to shape their innovations into successful businesses.

The initiative also places special focus on student involvement through extending funding support to those with promising prototypes or nascent-stage ideas, instigating youth-led innovations in the agricultural sector. Applications for the RABI Program 2025 must be submitted by 30 September 2025.
