PM Modi pushes the Startup Ecosystem Forward, says UP CM

Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, traveled to Agra in order to plan the state's investment promotion efforts and make plans a reality.

Speaking to a gathering of 100 unicorns, he emphasized the importance of UP's young people creating jobs and the impact these forward-thinking businesses have on the global digital economy.

He pointed out that although Uttar Pradesh used to have little possibilities, motivated students were able to make their dreams come true. Those at the forefront of technology have also seized the lead in startups, he continued.

In addition to stressing the revolutionary effect of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's measures in creating a strong startup environment, Chief Minister Adityanath reiterated the government's commitment to making Uttar Pradesh a USD 1 trillion economy. Through Startup India, Standup India, and Made in India, he commended PM Modi with reinventing entrepreneurial culture, boosting India's startup movement and fostering systemic confidence.

Speaking to the audience, the chief minister emphasized that India's startup scene has become well-known worldwide, with several unicorns appearing in a variety of industries. "Uttar Pradesh has also made great progress, with over 14,000 firms currently based there, with 7,000 of them led by women entrepreneurs," he said.

He praised their achievements in a variety of sectors, giving the example of "Physics Wallah," a firm that used innovation and technology to become a unicorn. He pointed out that entrepreneurs have effectively used digital innovations to produce significant answers, especially in areas where there was previously a lack of technological expertise.

Using the Mahakumbh as an example, he demonstrated how technology may be used to advance social welfare. He emphasized the accomplishments of the Khoya-Paya program, which used a digital tracking system to help 28,000 missing people get back in touch with their family. On the other hand, he criticized remarks made by the Congress leadership that gave a false impression of what happened.
