Piyush Goyal unveils Bharat Startup Knowledge Access Registry For startups & investors

Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal is set to launch the Bharat Startup Knowledge Access Registry (BHASKAR) initiative on Monday. This platform will act as a central hub for startups, investors, service providers, and government entities to collaborate, share ideas, and drive growth. According to an official statement, the initiative aims to strengthen collaboration among key players in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, including startups, investors, mentors, service providers, and government bodies.

The main objective of BHASKAR is to create the world's largest digital registry for stakeholders in the startup ecosystem. To accomplish this, the platform will offer a range of key features, including networking and collaboration opportunities, centralized access to resources, personalized identification, improved discoverability, and support for enhancing India's global brand.

"BHASKAR will connect startups, investors, mentors, and other stakeholders, facilitating seamless interaction across various sectors," the statement said. By consolidating resources, the platform will grant startups immediate access to essential tools and knowledge, promoting faster decision-making and more efficient growth. Each stakeholder will receive a unique BHASKAR ID, ensuring personalized interactions and tailored experiences throughout the platform.

With advanced search capabilities, users can quickly find relevant resources, collaborators, and opportunities, facilitating faster decision-making and execution. The platform will also help promote India's global reputation as an innovation hub, making cross-border collaborations more accessible for both startups and investors.

By providing seamless access to knowledge and resources, BHASKAR aims to unlock the full potential of India’s startup ecosystem, positioning the country as a global leader in entrepreneurship. The government encourages all stakeholders to join this transformative initiative, which is set to reshape India's startup landscape by fostering a more connected, efficient, and collaborative environment for innovation. With over 1,46,000 government-recognized startups, India has quickly become one of the world’s most vibrant startup hubs, and this initiative seeks to harness that potential through a comprehensive, one-stop digital platform addressing the challenges faced by both entrepreneurs and investors.
