On Friday, September 13, the Patanjali Group companies plan to raise up to $240 million through a block transaction. A 3% ownership in the companies is being sold in this deal, with a floor price of 1,815 per share. Patanjali Foods's shares closed at 1,931.35 per on the NSE, not far from its 52-week high of 1,992.20. Ruchi Soya Industries was purchased by Patanjali Foods in 2019 for 4,350 crore. 

Patanjali Foods declared in July 2024 that it will buy Patanjali Ayurved's non-food division for 1,100 crore. The company's home and personal care division, which offers teeth, skin, hair, and home care, is part of this deal. 

On July 19, Patanjali Foods revealed a 199.43% YoY increase in net profit for the first quarter that concluded on June 30, 2024, coming in at 262.9 crore. Operating revenue for the company dropped 7.6% to 7,173 crore from 7,767 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
