Online Real Estate Portal, Commonfloor.com Raises Second Round of Funding
Bangalore: Commonfloor.com, a Bangalore based real estate portal dedicated to apartments and gated communities has raised has procured an undisclosed amount in Series B from Accel India and Tiger Global Management. The funds will be utilized by the company to expand its business territory, improve technology, hiring more talents, reports dealcurry.com
Founded in 2007, commonfloor.com provides real estate solutions with its web portal that is dedicated to apartments and even gated communities. It provides a one-stop solution for all home seekers by providing information on apartments and gated communities.
Commonfloor.com was founded by Sumit Jain, Lalit Mangal and Vikas Malpani and has gained quick traction in real estate. The company raised its first funding in 2009; the services of this portal are used in over 120 cities across India, with over 25 lakhs listed homes and 50,000 communities.
Focusing on various listings, commonfloor.com recently opened offices in Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Pune and Hyderabad. The company also launched a new map based search feature to enable quick search results which is integrated through Google Maps.
