Stage, a regional-dialect OTT platform, announced that Neeraj Chopra, the Olympic and world champion in men's javelin throw, has joined as an investor. However, specific details regarding the partnership and investment were not disclosed.
Chopra expressed that his investment in Stage signifies more than a mere interest in reviving diverse regional languages. His goal is to ensure the preservation and flourishing of cultural heritage through this platform, as stated during a press event in his ancestral village of Khandra in Panipat.

The company boasts over 6 million installations and a community comprising more than 550,000 paying subscribers.
