myTVS unveils 'Mobility-as-a-Service platform to offer EV management solution
A subsidiary of TVS mobility Group myTVS has launched its 'Mobility-as-a-Service' (MaaS) platform which is targeting to offer seamless comprehensive vehicle management solutions for electric vehicle (EV) fleets across India.
The platform is specifically tailored for last-mile EV fleet operators, representing a major advancement in supporting businesses transitioning to sustainable mobility solutions. Offering a broad range of services, the MaaS platform aims to be an essential tool for fleet operators seeking to streamline operations and enhance fleet efficiency.
The MaaS platform offers a comprehensive range of services that address every aspect of EV fleet management. These services include vehicle leasing, real-time fleet monitoring, spare parts management through a digital catalog featuring 1.8 lakh SKUs, charging solutions, telematics, roadside assistance, insurance, and tyre management.
In addition, myTVS is providing refurbishment services aimed at extending the operational lifespan of EV fleets, which adds substantial value to the businesses utilizing the platform. This service ensures that fleet operators can maintain their vehicles efficiently, reducing downtime and increasing overall fleet performance.
By integrating these various services, myTVS seeks to meet the evolving needs of fleet operators as they transition to electric vehicles. This shift is driven by the desire to align with sustainability goals, and the platform offers the necessary tools to help businesses streamline operations while advancing their commitment to environmentally friendly mobility solutions.
The Managing director of the company G Srinivasa Raghavan has mentioned that, the MaaS latform was built to meet the evolving needs of fleet operators to assure sustainability in the emerging quick commerce sector of the industry. He claimed that, the company has 1000 seamless service outlets nationwide through which they can deliver smooth and efficient services to the customers.
They are planning to invest
100 to
150 crore in this venture. With a customer base of over one million across India, myTVS is aiming to expand its service network. The company plans to open 2,500 additional service outlets over the next two years, targeting a 10-12% market share in the rapidly growing EV ecosystem.
The myTVS MaaS platform is designed to be flexible and adaptable, making it ideal for partnerships with OEMs, insurers, financial service providers, and leasing companies.
