Maruti Suzuki India Ltd has invested close to Rs 2 crore in connected mobility startup Ravity Software Solutions, taking an equity stake of more than 7.84% through the Maruti Suzuki Innovation Fund. This marks the company’s third strategic startup investment, following similar investments in Amlgo Labs in March 2024 and Sociograph Solutions in June 2022.
The automaker said the new partnership supports its commitment to improving the vehicle ownership experience using advanced digital solutions. Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, noted that startups bring speed, new ideas, and innovative problem-solving, making them strong collaborators for customer-focused transformation. He added that the company has been working with startups since 2019 to co-create solutions across mobility and technology.
Takeuchi said that partnering with Ravity Software will help Maruti Suzuki use AI-driven intelligence and analytics to better understand customers and deliver more personalized experiences. He emphasized that the investment also aligns with India’s Startup India initiative, aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and fostering an innovation-driven economy.

Vikas Rungta, Founder of Ravity Software, said, the investment reflects Maruti Suzuki’s openness to collaborate and adopt new technologies. He highlighted that Maruti Suzuki’s scale combined with Ravity’s agility and expertise in AI, mobility, and analytics will help create smarter, connected experiences for drivers.
The collaboration is expected to strengthen Maruti Suzuki’s digital innovation strategy and support the development of next-generation mobility solutions.
