Look what Obama and Romney can Teach Entrepreneurs

Varied backgrounds is an added advantage

In entrepreneurship it is important to be different and creative, and being different in every approach comes with the genes. Varied backgrounds and experiences build an entrepreneur and it in turn becomes the strength of the business class.

Obama and Romney has had significant formative experiences in foreign countries, both have struggled and have survived poor living conditions. Both have spoken about their difficult journeys, Obama lived in a heated apartment in New York while attending Columbia University while Romney lived through poor conditions while serving at the Mormon Missionary. Though it took some time for the all the struggle to show its results, Obama earned his degree in law from Harvard in 1991 and Romney earned both degrees, in law and MBA in 1975.

Family background has no importance

What is your father? Which caste do you belong to? You never get to hear such questions in entrepreneurship. People aren’t really bothered on whom your parents are or if your blood lines are blue or black.  What matters the most to people is, on how well you run the business and how good you are at satisfying them.
