Bangalore: Learnpedia Edutech Solutions, a digital learning solutions provider has announced that it has secured funding from Ixora Ventures and a consortium of angels. However the details of funding are yet to be disclosed, reports DealCurry.com.

Founded in Hyderabad by Krishna Rao Akula, Learnpedia provides digital learning solution for students who wish to take up engineering examinations. It had also recently launched study software JEE Study Mate, for students preparing for engineering entrance exams in Kerala. Learnpedia also said that the investment will be used to improve content and add additional products to the portfolio.

JEE Study Mate is a simplified study material that covers all the topics in the syllabus of Joint Entrance Examination for Indian Institutes of Technology and National Institutes of Technology. The study course also comes with videos, animations and relevant text preloaded module-wise that is available on to the Learnpedia's proprietary learning software.

Since the prime focus of Learnpedia is to simplify engineering content, it offers over 750 sessions of offline content with videos, animations and solved examples of the entire JEE syllabus. Interestingly, the modules are available in DVDs and tablets.
