The ENRich 2023 startup search program winners have been revealed by KPMG in India. Nexus Power, Apeiro Energy, MiniMines, MinionLabs, Caliche, and Syook are among the successful startups. The company began looking for startups in July of this year that could help our organization grow while using fewer resources and offering ground-breaking ideas for sustainable development that had the most negligible negative impact on the environment. At the ENRich 2023 Innovation Summit, Shri Ghanshyam Prasad, Chairperson, Central Electricity Authority (CEA), and Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon'ble Minister of Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, presented awards to the winners of the Startup Search. 'Growing with Less' is also the theme for ENRich 2023, KPMG in India's flagship Energy and Natural Resources conclave being organized on October 2023.
This year's startup search was conducted via KPMG Illuminate, a systematic, broad-ranging innovation management platform. The search was conducted along two parallel tracks: one for early-stage startups and one for mature startups. 40+ nominations were received for both the tracks. Candidates initially underwent a preliminary screening procedure. Subsequently, selected participants under each of the 10+ solution categories were given the opportunity to present their respective solutions to 10+ jury members comprising KPMG partners and industry experts. The jury evaluation allowed us to identify our startup search winners.
The winning startups will be able to showcase their solutions at a dedicated kiosk at the 'NxT Gen Technology Zone' at the ENRich event. They will also have a special chance to get in touch with potential customers via the startup database KPMG Matchi. Congratulating the winners, Anish De, Global Head, Energy Natural Resources & Chemicals (ENRC), KPMG International, said, "In this era of environmental concerns and dwindling resources, the notion of sustainable development and thriving with less is gaining importance. These startups have demonstrated innovation and immense potential in developing resource and energy-efficient solutions. I convey my heartfelt congratulations to the winners and am confident and optimistic that they will greatly benefit from the opportunities offered to them by KPMG in India".
