The inaugural session, IPV Ideaschool Batch 1, spans six weeks and is a nationwide effort to advance businesses from the idea phase to Minimum Viable Product (MVP). The program envisions receiving an impressive 2000 applications, with an initial shortlist of 100 startups. From this group, 40 enterprises will actively participate in the accelerator program, undergoing evaluations across multiple rounds based on various parameters. The program's culmination will involve an on-ground event where the top 15 startups will present their business ideas to a distinguished jury. The final stage of IPV Ideaschool offers an enticing opportunity for the top five startups, providing a substantial investment of Rs 80 lakhs and an exclusive chance to join the prestigious IPV portfolio. Entrepreneurs keen on seizing this opportunity have until January 20th, 2024, to submit their applications.

Mr. Shah emphasized the program's comprehensive support, noting that IPV experts will assist startups in refining their business plans and suggest pivots if needed to make their commercially viable ideas ready for funding. IPV will leverage its investor network, ecosystem partners, and other venture capitalists to help startups access necessary infrastructure and raise additional capital. IPV Ideaschool is more than just a funding opportunity; it offers a holistic experience for startups, including access to bootcamps and masterclasses conducted by experts covering various business facets.
