InShorts reforms Leadership Roles, Deepit Purkayastha takes the charge as CEO
InShorts, a prominent News aggregator has publicized a changes in the leadership norms of the company.  The Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Inshorts, Azhar Iqubal will be the New Chairman of the Company. Since the inception of the Noida-based Company in 2013, Iqubal has been part of it. 
The Co-Founder of the firm, Deepit Purkayastha will take the charge as CEO. This is the second leadership restructure activity at the company from previous couple of years. In the year 2022, the company allotted Nikhil Taneja as Head of Corporate development & the investor relations; Pavit Singh Katoch as a General Counsel & Abhijeet Ranjan as a Chief Revenue Officer of the public news aggregator.
The Public news app, InShorts recapitulates the news stories in 60 words for easy-to-read handy consumption on smartphones & covers beats such as sports, politics, business, technology & global entertainment & many others. InShorts app states that it has more than 12 million active users & collaborated with more than 1,500 brands for marketing campaigns. The company also unveiled a hyper-local content platform called Public in 2020 which holds 70 million MAU-monthly active users. 
To date, InShorts has raised $140 million including a separate $41 million for the Public app. The investors of InShorts are Vy Capital, Lee Fixel’s Addition, Tiger Global, SIG, A91 & Tanglin Venture Partners. Iqubal & Purkayastha holds a 2.02 percent in InShorts meanwhile the Anunay Pandey, third Co-founder of the company owns 1.8 percent.
