AI driven Tech Company InMobi has launched a new technology centre in Lucknow, marking a major step in its efforts to decentralize innovation and tap into India’s growing talent beyond metro cities. This new hub will focus on cutting edge technologies like Generative AI, Machine Learning Operations, automation, and AI infrastructure.
With plans to recruit around 500 deep tech engineers, product specialists, and data scientists, InMobi expects the centre to generate over 3,000 direct and indirect jobs, giving a significant boost to Uttar Pradesh’s economy. The move also supports the state’s goal of becoming a $1 trillion economy by 2029.
“InMobi has always believed that great talent isn’t confined to geography, it’s driven by mindset, ambition, and opportunity”, said Mohit Saxena, Co-founder and Group CTO of InMobi and Glance. “By investing in local talent, collaborating with academia, and building cutting edge products for global markets from the heart of Uttar Pradesh, we are reshaping the innovation map of Bharat and this is just the beginning”.
The Lucknow hub is strategically located near top engineering and management institutions like IIT Kanpur, IIIT Lucknow, IIM Lucknow, and MNNIT Allahabad. InMobi aims to partner with these institutes to offer hands-on training, internships, and upskilling programs tailored to real world tech needs.
