Infosys partners with Clearstream to streamline securities issuance & servicing
Infosys, a leading Indian technology company, has partnered with Clearstream, the post-trade services division of Deutsche Börse, a global exchange organization and prominent provider of market infrastructure.
Infosys announced that its collaboration contributed to the successful launch of Clearstream’s Generation 2 D7 platform, an advanced digital post-trade solution that enables market participants to issue securities digitally.
As part of the project, Infosys supported Clearstream by managing the end-to-end implementation, customization, and deployment of the platform, along with go-live support and aftercare services.
The D7 platform has created an institutional-grade digital asset infrastructure, unlocking significant value in asset tokenization and digital assets.
This collaboration follows just two days after Infosys revealed its strategic partnership with the Belgium-based Proximus Group.
Daniel Besse, CTO of Clearstream, stated, "The successful launch of D7 Generation 2 is a significant milestone that sets a new benchmark for our clients and the entire industry, streamlining the digital issuance process to make it faster, simpler, and more efficient."
The collaboration between Clearstream and Infosys throughout this project has been highly productive. The upgraded platform paves the way for further digitization of financial markets, allowing rapid adaptation to market shifts. As a leader in innovation within the securities industry, Clearstream has already facilitated over 150,000 digital issuances through D7, surpassing any other digital issuance platform worldwide.
Dennis Gada, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Banking & Financial Services at Infosys, expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration with Clearstream, a part of Deutsche Börse, on their digital transformation journey with the D7 platform for securities issuance. He noted that the integration had enabled Clearstream to improve time-to-market, streamline operations, simplify their technology infrastructure, and manage regulatory changes efficiently, all while supporting sustainable growth.
