Indian Startups Raise $57 Million in Funding Within One Week: OfBusiness Heads the Pack
From April 14 to April 19, 2025, 19 Indian startups from different industries raised more than $57.8 million collectively from investors. The week witnessed investments across a wide array of industries, ranging from B2B, wellness, infratech, drones, sports, gaming, electric vehicles, edtech, deeptech, quick-service restaurants (QSR), robotics, and healthtech. At the forefront was OfBusiness, which raised $11.71 million, equal to the amount raised by Garuda Aerospace, a drone technology firm.
Hot on their heels were Ahmedabad-based B2B industrial solutions provider Magma, autonomous robotics startup Peppermint, and deeptech surveillance firm Optimized Electrotech together raising $15 million. Particularly, Peppermint raised $4 million, Magma $5 million, and Optimized Electrotech $6 million.
Some other significant funding rounds were that of BeastLife, which was started by Gaurav Taneja and raised $220,000; wellness startup Cura Care, which raised $580,000 in a pre-seed round; drink startup CENTA, which raised $2.3 million in a Series A round; and Rio Innobev, another drink startup, which raised $1.17 million in a pre-Series A round. Further, Nothing Before Coffee, a QSR brand, raised $2.3 million in pre-Series A round, and jewelery startup Jewelbox raised $3.2 million in a pre-Series A round. IPEC, an electric vehicle startup, raised $3 million, and That Sassy Thing, a women's sexual wellness brand, raised $700,000 in a seed round.
Healthtech venture RISA Labs raised $3.5 million in seed funding, and infratech venture Planck raised $500,000 in a pre-seed round. Good Monk, which featured on Shark Tank India, raised $2 million prior to Series A.
Besides these rounds of funding, strategic acquisitions and mergers were also happening at this time. Findi, an Australian-based company, acquired BANKIT Services Pvt. Ltd. for
160 crore (A$30 million) via its majority-owned subsidiary, Transaction Solutions International (India) Pvt. Ltd. CleverTap, a full-stack engagement and retention platform, meanwhile, acquired the company rehook.ai.
