Indian Startups Highlight AI, EV and Deep-Tech Innovations at UAE Forum

Indian startups put forward a wide range of cutting-edge technologies at the UAE-India Startup Series, held under the India-UAE CEPA Council. The event highlighted the growing innovation partnership between the two countries under the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). Startups showcased solutions in AI, digital transformation, robotics, green construction, wealth-tech, electric mobility and space-tech, areas that align closely with the UAE’s tech-first economic goals.

Abhishek Agarwal, Chief of Staff at SBNRI, said the company is building a next-generation wealth-tech platform for NRIs to manage INR, USD and local currencies. He noted strong engagement during their pitch, including interest from banks and valuable technical feedback.

From the electric mobility sector, Ankit Gupta, Co-Founder of Simple Energy, highlighted their plans to scale internationally. The company has developed its EV technology fully in-house and holds nearly 100 patents across key components. Simple Energy currently sells in India and is preparing to enter global markets.

Space-tech startup Digantara also drew attention. Rahul Rawat, Co-Founder and COO of Digantara, said their space-based surveillance and intelligence platform generated strong interest. Despite being the first to pitch, he described the experience as smooth and well-received.

Robotics made a strong mark as well. Mugesh, Co-Founder of Goat Robotics, said the company builds AI-powered autonomous mobile robots for industrial material handling. They plan to expand internationally and set up their regional headquarters in the UAE.

In logistics, Nanda Kishore Dharmavaram, Co-Founder of Enmovil, said the company offers an AI-native supply chain and logistics platform that helps enterprises optimize operations.

The participation of these startups highlights CEPA’s growing impact in opening markets, strengthening investment channels and enabling cross-border technology collaboration.
