DeepTek.ai, a prominent player in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for medical imaging, has unveiled Augmento X-Ray, a groundbreaking Computer-Aided Detection (CADe) Chest X-Ray AI solution. This innovation, backed by the US FDA Cleared CXR AI, is now commercially available and was introduced at the 109th Annual Meeting of the Radiology Society of North America (RSNA), the largest radiology conference globally. Augmento X-ray aims to substantially decrease the burden on radiologists and enhance the accuracy of chest X-ray reporting.
Chest radiography is the most common medical imaging tool used in routine clinical practices to identify different disease findings. With 3.5 billion annual X-rays performed and 1.5 billion dedicated to chest examinations, the need for precise interpretation is critical. India-based startup DeepTek's AI solutions have already made a significant impact in India and the Asia-Pacific region, transforming healthcare by increasing access to quality care at a lower cost.
DeepTek.ai's products are operational in more than 500 hospitals and imaging centers, positively influencing the lives of over one million individuals annually. In Singapore, the national radiology AI platform is Augmento Enterprise, a US FDA-approved solution developed by DeepTek, playing a pivotal role in enhancing productivity and the quality of care in public hospitals.
With approximately 200 members and notable partners such as TATA Capital, NTT DATA Japan, and Shimadzu Asia Pacific, DeepTek.ai is gearing up to enter the US market. The company plans to utilize its recent product launch and US FDA approvals strategically, aiming to make a substantial impact on the global healthcare landscape.
