IIT Kanpur and SBI Foundation Initiate Program to Support 30 Social Impact Startups
- 30 startups (24 early-stage + 6 growth-stage) to be incubated under the program.

IIT Kanpur's Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC) in association with SBI Foundation has initiated a new program called 'Startup Innovations for Social Good' under the umbrella of the wider 'SBIF Innovators for Bharat' program.
Launched on June 5, 2025, at IIT Kanpur's Outreach Centre, Noida, the program has a vision to incubate and grow 30 high-potential startups 24 early-stage and 6 growth-stage representing AgriTech, Healthcare, and CleanTech domains. SBI DFHI and SBI Ventures have backed the program.
Conceived to operate for a period of 18 months, the program shall provide chosen startups with formal incubation, mentorship by experts, industry-specific assistance, and impact-oriented tracking. It is conceived to be an extraordinary combination of academic professionalism and corporate social responsibility, solving India's critical development issues through sustainable, scalable solutions.

This program is part of the SBI Foundation's CSR activity and flagship platform, 'Innovators for Bharat', to empower incubators and startups that focus on practical problems in the hinterlands.
