iB Hubs Startup School for Student Entrepreneurs at Zero Fee, Zero Equity - Future Begins Here!
iB Hubs Startup School '18, an acceleration program designed for student entrepreneurs, kick-started last week. The first cohort of students from colleges across India has gathered at iB Hubs for 4 weeks of intense learning.
iB Hubs is a PAN India startup Hub that provides end to end assistance to startups. It envisions to develop a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in every nook and corner of India. In line with the vision, to support student entrepreneurs, iB Hubs Startup School was initiated in 2017.
The response for iB Hubs Startup School ‘18 was overwhelming! The program received 250+ applications from 450+ founders across 130+ institutions from all over India, and 25 startups have secured admission to this year.
Students quoted that after the initial sessions, they realized what they are learning at iB Hubs Startup School is very essential to them, both in product development and customer acquisition. This was exactly what they have been looking for.
Speaking about Startup School “This initiative is focused towards instilling entrepreneurial mindset among youngsters and build role models in the society. Over the four weeks at Startup School, student entrepreneurs learn everything from building a product to mastering the lean startup methods. They will learn about legal aspects of startups and different ways of fundraising and much more. The students will receive one-on-one mentorship from experts at iB Hubs.
The program will also feature talks from industry experts and successful entrepreneurs. These talks provide the students with a comprehensive exposure to entrepreneurship from those who already walked the path.
Bringing together the major stakeholders of the startup ecosystem, iB Hubs is conducting this edition of Startup School in partnership with 26 organizations including prominent investment, legal and media firms.
