The scenic beachfront of Kovalam near the Kerala capital will see waves of new ideas as India's largest beachfront startup festival, Huddle Global, returns to the iconic location with its seventh edition on December 11, 2025. Hosted by Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), Huddle Global 2025 will have startups, investors, innovators, policymakers, and visionaries from India and outside congregating.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the much-anticipated three-day startup extravaganza at The Leela Kovalam, a Raviz Hotel, Kovalam. As the nodal agency of the Kerala Government for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities in Kerala, KSUM has been conducting 'Huddle Kerala' since 2018. With every passing year, the beachside startup festival has become the nation's much-anticipated affair because of its vibrant backdrop and potent mix of innovation and opportunity it holds out.
The conclave for this year will attract thousands of attendees from more than 15 countries, expecting a larger, bolder and larger global event that honors startup culture against the picturesque background of the Arabian Sea. Seeram Sambasiva Rao IAS, Special Secretary (Electronics & IT Department) and Chairman, KSITM, stated: "Huddle Global 2025 is Kerala's pledge to foster risk-taking ideas, develop innovation-led enterprises, and entice the world to co-create from our beachheads. As the digital economy transforms global growth, Kerala is set to be at the forefront as a center of inclusive, sustainable, and globally competitive startups".
KSUM CEO Anoop Ambika explained that Huddle Global is Kerala's assertive declaration of becoming a global tech hub. "With more than 6,000 startups, dozens of incubators, and an actively entrepreneurial government, Kerala is one of Asia's most vibrant and inclusive startup ecosystems. Huddle Global is the beacon of the ecosystem providing mentorship, visibility, credibility, and capital to founders creating solutions for the world," he added.
Anoop further added that the next edition is likely to attract over 3,000 participants, such as 200 high-profile investors and 100 Angel investors, Fortune 500 executives, venture capital firms, global mentors, and top media. With international delegations and speakers already booked, the event is likely to make headlines as one of the world's legendary innovation summits.
Huddle Global 2025 will be an energetic platform for startups to launch innovative technologies, raise funds, identify strategic partners, and gain mentorship from some of the industry's most successful players. It will host hotly contested pitch competitions, startup expos, investor meets, corporate challenges, fireside chats, masterclasses, and bespoke networking experiences all designed to fuel entrepreneurial growth and cross-border collaboration.
aligning with international standards established by events such as CES, Slush, and Web Summit, Huddle Global will present a well-designed experience with an Indian touch combining technology, storytelling, and market access with seaside charm. Past editions have resulted in successful partnerships and MoUs with global companies, international investors, and government institutions. Remarkably, earlier events enabled tie-ups with Belgium and Australia as the ecosystem's partners.
The festival will highlight cutting-edge sectors such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Fintech, Blockchain, Healthtech, Life Sciences, Augmented/Virtual Reality, Spacetech, e-Governance, and Internet of Things (IoT). Startups in these segments will demonstrate game-changing concepts and receive the chance for immediate investor comments, pilot funding and global market access.
The conclave structure consists of open pitches, roundtables, branding challenges, mentor hours, and engagement tracks such as Pitch-It-Right, Founders' Meet, Impact 50, and the favourite Sun-Down Huddle. Global speakers will present their viewpoints and inputs on live themes, making light of the world business and technology scenario.
