How Far Is Bangalore From Being Called The 'Startup Capital'?
Eco-system, Investment and growth
The startup ecosystem in India is slowly revolving around success as it constantly rotates around VC’s and angels who have the potentiality of recognizing smart startups. Certain researches and reports state that most VC’s like to invest only in growth stage startups while there are a good number of people ready to invest in late stage ventures as well.
Seed stage, early stage and exit funding is also good but not to an extent of creating an impression. The major criterion most VC’s look at during a pitch in is the market size and since India has a huge market with potential customers the eco system is growing along with the number of startups and entrepreneurs. So lets hope that this startup festival does the next bit of getting Bangalore the label - Startup Capital of India.
