GrowthSchool Targets Onboarding 2.5 Million Learners in 2024
GrowthSchool, an upskilling platform driven by generative artificial intelligence, has set ambitious goals for 2024, aiming to onboard 2.5 million learners and achieve a $1 million monthly run rate by the end of the fiscal year. The platform, founded two years ago, has reported a remarkable 400% year-on-year growth in revenue since its inception, reaching a peak monthly revenue of Rs 5 crore. Having expanded globally in 2023, the edtech platform has successfully upskilled over 1 million learners, marking significant growth. The platform's current team strength stands at 150, having tripled in size year-on-year.
The company derives 10% of its revenue from learners outside India and is poised to formally enter global markets, specifically targeting North America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East in 2024. In a strategic move to expand its global presence, GrowthSchool, which has garnered interest from existing investors for its upcoming Series-A round, has introduced 'Outskill,' a platform facilitating the acquisition of professional skills. The company's offerings in the Indian market span various categories, including performance marketing, No-Code, Web3, management consulting, and generative AI.
Founder and CEO Vaibhav Sisinty emphasized GrowthSchool's meticulous vetting process, ensuring a rigorous evaluation before onboarding mentors to conduct workshops. Sisinty acknowledged the company's impact in empowering over one million learners and highlighted a commitment to addressing the broader talent pool unable to upskill due to financial constraints. He expressed the company's goal to make continuous learning and development more affordable than platforms like Netflix.
