Gaurav Maheshwari joins InCred Finance as CFO
Gaurav Maheshwari has been named Chief Financial Officer (CFO) by InCred Finance, the consumer and MSME lending division of the InCred Group, with effect from December 16, 2024.
Maheshwari has over 27 years of illustrious experience in financial leadership, which he brought with him from Standard Chartered Bank, where he held the position of Cluster CFO for South and India for more than 20 years. Throughout his career, he has held senior positions at Coca-Cola India, Reuters India, and Altico Capital.
As the business expands, InCred says Gaurav's insights will be critical to boosting capital efficiency, advancing business performance, and fortifying governance.
This development coincides with reports that InCred Finance intends to go public. With an IPO planned for the last quarter of 2025, the company hopes to raise between
4,000 and
5,000 crore ($471 and 588 million).
InCred Finance is an NBFC that was established in 2016 by Bhupinder Singh. It provides a wide range of lending options, such as loans against property (LAP), student loans, personal loans, and loans for MSME's.
Investors such as Moore Capital, Elevar Equity, ADIA, TRS, OAKS, KKR, Ranjan Pai, and INVESTCORP support the company.
Three companies are run by the InCred Group: InCred Money, InCred Capital, and InCred Finance. The group's operating revenue increased by 48% to
1,267 crore in FY24. In the most recent fiscal year, it also declared a profit after tax (PAT) of
316 crore.
