Former Paytm Staffs owns 22 startups, will they Outreach Flipkart Mafia?
Though the 44 startups of the Flipkart ‘Mafia’ that generally dominates the headlines, a smaller group of Paytm’s former employees a small bunch of former Paytm employees, who left the major fintech company to launch 22 startups over the years has smashed the revenue value of 10,666 crore. 
Here, the mafia refers to a cluster of former executives of Paytm executives come entrepreneurs. The Mafia includes, Pocket FM - co-founded by Rohan Nayak, an Ex. Product manager in Paytm, Park+ - Established by Amit Lakhotia, a former Business Head pf Paytm wallet & Indiagold, a gold loan platform Co-founded by Deepak Abbot, a former SVP of product in Paytm & Nitin Misra, a former Business Head of Paytm Postpaid. 
Additional companies comes under this group includes, Junio - a digital pocket money platform for students, Frnd - audio dating platform, Cleardekho - eyewear brand, Genwise Club - an online club for elders, Yoho - footwear brand, Daalchini - vending machine startup & Kratikal - cybersecurity company. 
According the report from Private Circle, A maximum number of companies were established after the Paytm’s Rs 300 crore ESOP buyback offer in January 2018.
Similarly, the same report from Private Circle estimated the Flipkart mafia at $24.6 billion. That mafia companies includes ventures such as PhonePe, Curefoods, Credgenics, Udaan, Spinny, cult.fit, Slice, Navi, Curefoods & OkCredit
Here, the maximum number of companies were established within & after the year 2019, at a point when Walmart acquired the Flipkart, in which the company also launched ESOP buybacks worth over $500 million.
