The food tech giant Zomato led by Deepinder Goyal  has introduced a new feature called "Group ordering". This brand new feature will help the users to share the link with friends, allowing everyone to add items to the cart seamlessly. This feature reduces the difficulties of passing around a phone for everyone to add their orders.

Deepinder Goyal informed about this feature through a post on his social media handle ‘X’ and wrote, "You can now share a link with your friends, and everyone can add to the cart seamlessly, making ordering together faster and easier."

He also added, "We’re gradually making it available to all customers. If the feature is available to you, try it for your house party tonight and let us know how it goes."

Apps like Zomato have revolutionized how Indians enjoy their favorite foods on the go. They allow users to order from a diverse selection of restaurants and cuisines with just a few taps on their smartphones. The main advantage of these apps is that they remove the need for travel and lengthy waits.

Last month, Zomato launched a new feature enabling users to delete their order history. The feature, called Order Delete, was announced by Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal via his X handle. This announcement followed a lighthearted interaction with a user named Karan, who humorously shared that his wife had discovered his late-night snack orders. The new feature provides users with the option to manage their order history more discreetly, reflecting Zomato's responsiveness to customer feedback and their commitment to enhancing user experience.

Zomato's revenue has seen significant fluctuations over the years, influenced by market conditions and strategic changes. As of their latest financial reports, Zomato reported revenues of approximately 1,600 crore or about $200 million for the fiscal year 2023.
