Flipkart, brings you the joy of discovery with in-house UPI system for Seamless Payment

Walmart owned, E-commerce Giant Flipkart has recently marked its presence in the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) space which will enable its users to create their own UPI handles for transactions both within and outside its platform. They have launched this program to streamline their payment system for its huge user base. It will add up to 500 million registered users and 1.4 million sellers.

In an official statement, the company told that, this integrated system of payment through UPI, will provide a smooth and glitch free payment system purchasing goods, paying bills, and even making peer-to-peer transactions.

Flipkart has joined hands with Axis Bank and launched the ‘@fkaxis’ UPI handle. Apart from this, Flipkart is launching a new fintech platform, Super.Money to broaden its financial services, offering lending, insurance, and more.

Flipkart UPI service is a challenge for other third-party payment apps like Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, and Amazon Pay. By this UPI system, Flipkart will not only provide an in-house payment solution, but it keeps the users within its ecosystem. It also enhances user convenience by eliminating the need to switch apps for payments.

This payment system of Flipkart will definitely challenge its competitors and will go ahead in the race. While others are merging with fintech companies to offer such comprehensive services, flipkart is showing the path of self-dependeny.

This system will provide users with a one-stop-shop experience, where they can avail of a wide range of services, from shopping to financial transactions, all within a single platform. This significant step underscores its commitment to enhancing customer experience and convenience.
