Expert Dojo Launches Third Global Fund, Seeks to Invest $15 Million in Indian Startups

US venture capital firm Expert Dojo has launched its third global fund with a target corpus of $100 million. Of the $100 million, the company is looking to invest around $15 million in early-stage Indian startups.

In a recent release, Expert Dojo announced it would be investing in 20-25 early-stage Indian startups in the fiscal year 2026. Though the fund is not limited to any sector, it will especially focus on investing in fintech, B2B, SaaS, and AI startups. The company intends to invest $50,000 to $1 million in every startup, apart from providing mentorship and exposure to its market network.

Additionally, Expert Dojo has indicated plans to invest another $30 million in Indian startups in the next 2-3 years. Founded in 2014, the California based venture capital firm not only invests capital but also seeks to help founders in the tech space with advice and support.

Ashutosh Kumar Jha, Expert Dojo's general partner, had this to say about the fund launch, "We're not creating a portfolio; we're building an India-US innovation corridor that allows Indian startups to scale globally. From Bengaluru to Boston, from Delhi to Dubai, we want our founders to think and build without borders."

In an interview with Inc42 recently, Jha said that Expert Dojo has about 300 startups in its portfolio, out of which 30 are Indian. Some of the prominent Indian startups in its portfolio are BHIVE, Zippee, Mugafi, and Cloudworx. To enhance its endeavor in India, the VC firm also launched an office in Bengaluru, which will act as a deal flow hub, founder support hub, as well as an ecosystem collaboration hub.
