A top Indian Coffee Quick Commerce Restaurant (QSR), Third Wave Coffee, reported the appointment of Rajat Luthra — previous CEO of KFC India and Nepal as its new President from April 1, 2024.

Luthra will supplant SushantGoel, the ongoing Chief and Co-Founder, who will presently serve on the organization’s board. Luthra has close to thirty years of involvement with the FMCG – fastmanufacturing consumer goods and QSR areas and has filled in as the President of KFC India and Nepal for over 10 years.

Since the brand's beginning in 2016, Goel alongside with the Co-Founders Ayush Bathwal and Anirudh Sharma, scaled the organization to more than 100 outlets across India. As President, Sushant was answerable for guiding the organization’s business system and producing powerful financial backer relations. In his job as a board part, Goel will proceed with the essential bearing of the organization and foster new drives for Third Wave Coffee.

Speaking to this development, Goel stated, “As CEO and co-founder, I have had the privilege of leading the company through its formative years and I am incredibly proud of the journey that we have embarked on. The brand is ready to embark on its next leg of growth”.

Also he added, “Now, as I transition to the board, I am excited to continue contributing towards our vision and growth from a different vantage point. Rajat is a veteran in the QSR industry, and I am filled with optimism on what the future holds for Third Wave Coffee under his stewardship”.

As Sushant transitions to his new role on the board, we are confident that his guidance and strategic insights will continue to steer us towards even greater success.”
