Eternal Capital Rebrands as Sadev Ventures to Deepen India-First Focus

Eternal Capital, the early-stage venture capital fund founded by former BharatPe COO Dhruv Dhanraj Bahl, has announced its rebranding to Sadev Ventures. The new name aligns the fund’s identity with its family office, which reflects its core values and long-term vision.
With the rebranding, Sadev Ventures plans to double down on its India-first strategy while helping portfolio companies expand globally through partnerships and international investors. “As our vision goes deeper into India’s entrepreneurial fabric while tapping financial, social, and intellectual capital across borders, it’s the right time to scale under an identity that resonates with our stakeholders”, said Dhruv Dhanraj Bahl, Founder & Managing Partner. He added that the shift emphasizes support for ventures that can grow into generational institutions, beyond just providing capital.
Launched in mid-2024, Sadev Ventures is sector-agnostic and focuses on early-stage startups, typically investing between seed and pre-Series A rounds with cheque sizes of Rs 2–6 crore. The fund has deployed about half of its corpus, investing in 20 startups including Asaya, Cleevo, Cookd, Gladful, Hypergro, Bidso, and Liquide. Its total corpus is Rs 120 crore, with a greenshoe option for an additional Rs 120 crore.
The fund continues to target post-product-market-fit startups with strong revenue potential and long-term growth. Maintaining an operator-led structure, it provides what it calls the 'colour of money' combining financial support with founder empathy and access to high-impact networks, helping startups scale sustainably.
With its rebranding, Sadev Ventures aims to reinforce its presence as a trusted partner for India’s emerging entrepreneurs.
