Edtech startup Harappa aims to double its team in FY22

Ahead of strategic expansion plans, an online institution for behavioural skilling and a homegrown ed-tech startup Harappa is aiming to grow its team by 2X by adding nearly 150 new employees in FY 2022 across verticals.

Thirty per cent of new hires will be onboarded into the firm’s engineering and product teams, with a specific focus on product innovation. Including leadership at the CXO level, it has already brought together a team of 150 people in the last quarter.

“Harappa’s vision and our unique Thrive Skills pedagogy has unclocked tremendous growth and momentum across our B2B and B2C offerings over the course of the last two years. As the world is transitioning to new work styles and models, the significance of cognitive, social and behavioural skills have become even more pivotal across career cusps. To support our ambitions goals and bridge India’s professional learning need-gaps, we plan to accelerate our hiring in FY22 by building even more capability in-house,” said Shreyasi Singh, founder and CEO, Harappa.

The talent that the company is looking to bring will strengthen its B2B presence across distinct learning experiences and will also support its B2C bets. Spearheaded by its leadership members like Mudit Shekhawat as the chief consumer officer, Nilanjan Kar as the chief revenue officer, and Vipul Rathore as the chief content officer, the expanded teams will build long-term capabilities for the firm.
