Zomato Co-founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal has made headlines once again this time for joining the ultra-luxury residential circle of DLF Camellias in Gurgaon, one of India’s most exclusive addresses. Known for its billionaire residents and sky-high real estate prices, the property is home to several high-profile entrepreneurs and business leaders.
Goyal’s new residence is a sprawling 10,813 sq. ft. apartment on the fifth floor of Tower 1. Valued at Rs 52.3 crore, the deal also includes five dedicated parking slots and attracted a stamp duty of Rs 3.66 crore, according to Hindustan Times. With a per sq. ft. rate of Rs 48,390, this transaction stands out as one of the more premium real estate acquisitions in the country. The buyer’s agreement dates back to April 2022, while the conveyance deed was registered on March 17, 2025.
This isn’t Goyal’s first big-ticket property; he previously purchased a prime plot in Mehrauli, Delhi for Rs 50 crore.
DLF Camellias continues to attract India’s elite, with current listings starting at Rs 70 crore. In December 2024, Info-X Software CEO Rishi Parti made waves with a Rs 190 crore penthouse deal. Other notable residents include Wesbok Lifestyle’s Smiti Agarwal (Rs 95 crore apartment) and Lenskart’s Peyush Bansal (Rs 27 crore unit).
Among Goyal’s new neighbors are India’s top startup founders such as Aman Gupta (boAt), Varun Alagh (Mamaearth), Ashneer Grover (BharatPe), and Lokvir Kapoor (Pine Labs), further cementing Camellias' status as the preferred address for the country’s startup elite.
