  • Reports 53% YoY revenue growth in FY24; losses reduced.
  • Plans $300–400 million IPO in FY26; restructured as a public entity.

Cloud kitchen and food services platform Curefoods has bagged exclusive pan-India rights of iconic doughnut and coffee chain Krispy Kreme, a key milestone in its pan-India expansion. This acquisition makes Curefoods the only operator of Krispy Kreme in India and marks its entry into North India with the opening of seven retail stores and four cloud kitchens in Delhi NCR.

Strengthening Market Footprint

The Bengaluru startup now runs more than 100 Krispy Kreme stores in India, including dine-in restaurants and cloud kitchens. This is the latest after it acquired Krispy Kreme's South and West India operations in December last year.

"Delhi NCR is just the beginning. We’re focused on scaling Krispy Kreme in a way that’s sustainable, accessible, and exciting for our customers," said Ankit Nagori, Founder of Curefoods. "With full national rights under our belt, we’re crafting a unified strategy to drive growth, elevate customer experience, and foster innovation across India."

The expansion in Delhi NCR comprises prime areas like Worldmark Aerocity, Select Citywalk (Saket), Ambience Mall (Gurgaon), Promenade Mall (Vasant Kunj), and Mall of India (Noida). In the future, the firm has shortlisted Mumbai as a key market.

A Growing Brand Portfolio

Founded in 2020 by ex-Flipkart executive Nagori, Curefoods has developed a broad portfolio of food and beverage brands within a short period, such as EatFit, CakeZone, Nomad Pizza, Sharief Bhai, Olio Pizza, Frozen Bottle, and now Krispy Kreme. It has more than 500 cloud kitchens and brick-and-mortar stores in 40 cities of India.

In FY24, Curefoods saw a 53% year-over-year revenue growth, along with a sharp decline in net losses. Its expansion is in line with strong momentum in India's food services

industry.

The cloud kitchen segment has seen a 30–40% CAGR from 2019 to 2024, according to the National Restaurant Association of India, with estimates projecting 35% growth per annum over the next four years.

Strategic Consolidation and IPO Plans

Curefoods' buying of Krispy Kreme's national business is an extension of its larger consolidation play in the Indian F&B sector. The firm has also bought foodtech startup Yumlane, merged with Mumbai-based Maverix, and acquired southern India franchise rights of US-based pizza chain Sbarro.

According to its long-term plans, Curefoods has reportedly undergone a restructure as a public company and is set to raise $300–400 million via an IPO in late FY26.

With its growing portfolio, strategic acquisitions, and national aspirations, Curefoods is placing itself at the pinnacle of India's fast-changing foodtech and cloud kitchen ecosystem.
