- Mohali based Countryside Express connects villages to global courier services.
- Built 200+ rural drop-off points for international shipping.
- Backed by Startup India Seed Fund and private investors.
A Mohali based startup, Countryside Express Logistics Private Limited, is transforming the way rural India accesses international courier services. Founded in 2018 by Harinder Singh and Lovesangeet Singh Aulakh, the startup was born out of a simple but powerful idea to make it easier for people in small towns and villages to send parcels abroad without traveling long distances to urban centers.
The startup began as Countryside Express Courier and Cargo LLP with a few booking points around Mohali. Today, it has evolved into a full-fledged logistics company with a network of over 200 rural drop-off locations. These points are operated by local agents who help customers book parcels, generate tracking IDs, and ensure timely pickups. This allows people in remote areas to access courier services with the same speed and reliability as urban customers.
Using a hub and spoke logistics model, Countryside Express consolidates shipments at regional hubs before routing them to national or international courier partners. The company offers both domestic and international delivery, with competitive pricing and full tracking support.
The startup has received funding under the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS) and also attracted private equity and convertible ventures. Its services have gained popularity in areas like Bathinda, where many rural families send packages to relatives living abroad.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Countryside Express played a vital role by helping deliver medical supplies and essential goods across restricted zones, proving the reliability and impact of its logistics model.
By solving a real logistical gap in rural India, Countryside Express stands out as a startup that brings global connectivity to the grassroots, one village at a time.
