The government's Startup Odisha initiative has partnered with the Business Club of Entrepreneurs (BCE) in a significant move to strengthen the state's entrepreneurial landscape. This partnership will enable Startup Odisha to expand its horizons and make sure that a larger number of entrepreneurs can more easily access its wide range of programs. The relationship was celebrated at a buzzing coffee session held at Bhubaneswar's O-Hub. Dr. Omkar Rai, the Executive Chairman of Startup Odisha, as well as a few esteemed BCE members graced the occasion. This event created a conducive environment for discussion and idea sharing while laying the groundwork for an intriguing future.
Startup Odisha plans to extend this partnership to other business associations in the state. It aims to reach an even broader audience. By forming alliances with various stakeholders, Startup Odisha hopes to inspire more startups and entrepreneurs to become part of their dynamic ecosystem. Dr. Omkar Rai, the Executive Chairman of Startup Odisha, expressed his excitement about the collaboration. He emphasized the commitment to strengthen the state’s startup ecosystem and empower entrepreneurs to seize opportunities.
The new collaboration represents a dedication to creating a supportive environment for entrepreneurs and startups across the state. It signifies a strategic step towards nurturing innovation, collaboration and sustainable growth within the entrepreneurial community. Startup Odisha is a part of the Odisha government’s MSME Department. It was founded in 2016. It supports startups, especially those led by women and marginalized groups, providing grants, incubation and exposure. The goal is to register 5000 startups by 2025 and they have consistently excelled as a top Startup Hub in India.
