Build a Startup to Graduate from These Universities
Northwestern University
NUvention, the flagship and the main subject course at the Farley Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation in the engineering department, is one and the only classes that segments students based on their interests. The students are free to choose their own subjects like- tech, energy or medical innovation. The first quarter makes students develop their personal ideas and build a prototype, which is launched into the market during the second quarter of their course.
The class is thought by Todd Warren, alumni who rose to the position of VP at Microsoft. One of their biggest success story is ‘Adaptly’ a social media analytics platform and a social media platform that is generating more than $10 million for its founders Nikhil Sethi, 24, and Garrett Ullom, 22.
The Northwestern also has great speakers to boost up the confidence level of the students and aspiring entrepreneurs, like - Groupon’s founder, Andrew Mason, and Google’s feedburners founders, Dick Costolo, Eric Lunt, Steve Olechowski, and Matt Shobe.
